Bear Grass Sun Burst on Metal

Bear Grass stands tall as Glacier National Park’s most recognizable plant and can be found all through the park from early June though mid August.  These stalks were found in a recently burned area of the Loop trail one afternoon in early July.  The “star” effect is not a filter nor is it created in post. It’s live capture is achieved by stopping the aperture down certain lenses, and the aperture blades create a beautiful effect when you have your subjects lined up.
