The Red Bus, such as the one photographed on the bridge near the St Mary entrance, is globally recognized and associated with the aura and identity of Glacier National Park. This historic fleet of buses have been used to give visitors a tour along Going-to-the-Sun road since they were built in the 1930’s. This collection of 33 buses still in use are considered the oldest touring fleet of vehicles anywhere in the world.
