St Marys Aurora Stretched Canvas

Spiritual, Jubilant, Amazement, Awe, Astonishment; all words to describe my feelings at 3am in late August when the Aurora Borealis began storming. This picture was taken at the St Mary entrance to Glacier National Park while the northern lights danced across the sky for about 15 minutes. Though they were visible in the North for most of the evening, the storm and ‘dancing’ lasted only a short period of time. This was the first time I had seen the northern lights, and it’s an experience that I’ll remember forever.
